Sunday the 1st November Blossoming Butterfly will teach a hatha yoga class with essential oils for H.E.S. to support Hand in Hand for Syria (read more about this initiative below).
The class fee will be donated to H.E.S.
What, Where and When
Hatha Yoga Class:
In the Hatha Yoga practice the focus is on loosening and strengthening the body. It is a static practice, rather than a flowing one, and there is always time for relaxation between different postures. Regulating the breath plays an important role in the practice in order to stabilize it. The Hatha Yoga practice will calm down and quiet your mind. After the practice you will feel peaceful, open and strong. It is a mild practice so it is a great style for people who are new to yoga.
The class fee: minimum 150 NOK, to bring in cash.
There are 12 spots available. Fill out the contact form if you like to join
Everyone can join the class as well beginners as more experienced yogi’s.
Date: 1 November 2015
Time: 16.00 – 17.30

Connie Norup from Energiverkstedet Connie Hvidberg Norup is so kind to offer us to use her location for free for this event.
H.E.S. is simply an acronym for ‘Host an Event for Syria’, which has been initiated by a group of parents who feel a strong need to help the Syrians in Syria. We know we are not alone and so have set up H.E.S. as a ‘crowdfunding’ initiative to kick-start lots of smaller fundraising events and to jointly create large-scale support for the vital cause ‘Hand in Hand for Syria’.
All the raised funds go to Hand in Hand for Syria who, unlike most aid agencies, work INSIDE Syria where they have been at the forefront of humanitarian aid since the conflict began.

Mats and blankets
- There will be mats, blankets and yoga props available.
- If you prefer your own mat and blanket feel free to bring it with you.
Suggested to bring yourself
- Easy comfy cloths
- Towel to cover your mat
- Water bottle
- Warm socks for the relaxation
I suggest to wear easy and compfy cloths (f.e. a legging or sweatpants) so you can easily move and stretch. Since there is not a specific changing room at the locations I would recommend you to come to the location in your yoga cloths.
